Non stick pans and word processors are two that jump immediately to mind but TW seemd to do regular articles on a very early form of renewable energy "Salters Ducks" - whatever happened to them.....

Wheely bin stabiliser

occurs when our bins are out on the street, not when they're on our own property. This means that any sort of tethering than involves bin men having to fiddle with things is a non-starter. In addition, even near full bins get blown over sometimes if the wind picks up ...

Another credit card problem.

Only they're not "favourites" at all, sites you visit the most; but simply sites you may need to visit more than once. In any case things have really been going downhill ever since Bill ceded day to day control; so nothing really comes as a real surprise any more.

Can I chuck unused wheelie bins in a skip?

Many councils use bye laws to impose fines on residents such as consistently overloading bins, leaving bins out on non-collection days and I should imagine includes disposing of council property. What happens if you do not pay the fines I do not know?

TOT: shredded paper recycling

Noting that bin colours are completely uncoordinated - in Cambs 'green' is garden waste, in Glasgow 'green' is the non-recyclable bin!

I have no idea what your bins were full of. Every council has different rules on what goes in which coloured bin. Scarborough uses a green bin for non recyclable refuse.
