Often they hook into your credit card than it might get tough to cancel. I know my brother got free for a year on his new car but they wanted $ to continue. Don't think they had his credit card.

It's a rectangle of silver card-like substance, presumably something more exotic. I think the aperture it covered is where the microwaves come out. It is very slighlty discoloured (charred). What is it, is it vital and can I get similar from my local electronics shop?
I changed computers last week: the new one doesn't have DVI on the graphics card so I needed a regular 3m VGA cable. The A to Z computer shop across road from office (why do I ever bother going in there) £25 for a 2m lead, £35 for 5m; new 3m lead from eBay including postage £6.
