Elderly widowed neighbour bought a fish tank heater from a local pet shop with a two pin plug, and when I approached them about this they supplied a clip on adaptor free - said they'd forgotten to do so.
Someone has to pay for all this running about issuing 'free' quotes and it has to be the customers. It might be common practice, but so is shop lifting. Anyone who steals my intellectual property is taking a serious risk. Bill

Wouldn't a wet/dry shop vac work better for this? I am building a pool as we speak and I am using my shop vac to suck the crap out of the plumbing. It seems to work pretty well.
