Water Heater Drainage

If your water heater "lets loose" and dumps 40 gallons of water, the drain pan is not going to do you much good. I'd just cut a channel in it to get at the spigot. I have no idea why they'd put a drain pan in an area to block it. OTOH: Why do you want to drain it?

Stupidness at the rubbish dump

As a simple test for the apes at dumps to use it's good enough and clear. For the latter list I'd say over applying for the former I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if a double cab is technically a car.

But, 'most everybody I know just takes a cartload to a spot on the lawn, dumps it, and rakes it out. Any amount at all will have some benefit; don't apply it over an inch deep, though, or you'll start smothering the grass. Chris Owens
