these three groups cause moer than half of deaths

A frequent tv ad for The Sentinal Group (.com, not . org) says that large trucks, "delivery vehicles and company owned cars cause more then half" the accidents and deaths on American roads.

Does that sound reasonable?

I googled for the phrase used, but didn't find anything (accept about Amazon's electric cars.)

It seems hard to believe from what I've seen on the roads. Of course you can't tell for sure who owns an unmarked car. I'd suspect this could be some BS, misinterpretation of data, eg counting leased cars as company owned because they are owned by the leasing company.

The Sentinel Group looks like a bunch of ambulance chasers.

I tend to agree. People are going to make a lot more money suing corporations than individuals because they have deeper pockets and generally, better insurance. I would also agree your chance of living through a crash with a concrete mixer is less than being hit by a Prius. That is just simple physics. Also professional drivers like a taxi or a delivery truck driver, drive a lot more than your average suburban housewife or commuter. When I was delivering chickens in DC I was driving 50-60 miles a day, in town, in a 2 1/2 ton truck. I never hit anything tho.

Plausible with deaths, but not with accidents.

Agreed.

I went to their webpage partly because I couldnt' remember the first word. The graphic showed a semi, but I didn't remember how they phrased it, And I went to see if they gave any support for the claim, but in my quick look, I found nothing related.

I dont' think the advertising guys are the ones who do the webpage.
