I have a room that has lots of knotty pine on the walls and ceiling that has been stained but not urathaned. It seems very dry. I would like to clean it and maybe try to moisten it with some type of oil. Any suggestions?

Not sure what you are trying to clean off? Dust? Sap? Oil? Dirt? Wiping with a rag moistened with mineral spirits will take care of most things, and won't raise the grain. The (temporary) darkened effect of the mineral spirits will give you an idea what the finishing oil might do.
