I just knocked an EU plug out while I was moving things around. Bloody annoying. Crashed three computers. UK plugs just don't do that. I think we're the only country with decent plugs (and India which I think uses ours).

I have noticed a LOT of american videos assume their audience is terminally thick.

Well the sockets I last saw had what amounted to a couple orof ball bearings trapped between two flat pins so when the hole in the plug got to the ball it kind of clicked in. No travel adaptors are all wobbly, and you are right, no shroud or even any place to stop fingers getting in. There are some three pin ones but the pin for earth, is not a pin its like a metal strap around the plug that connects into a recess, in this case the pins are round though. You would think on this earth, countries could come up with one good design and stick to it. Brian

No media outlet can be trusted, they're not interested in giving you information, they're interested in getting your attention so you buy their paper, so everything is exaggerated. I welcome the day they can't get enough money from idiots actually subscribing to their papers and they all go away.

It's high time they removed the theiving BBC. You pay them a license fee to watch Sky, yet you don't pay Sky a fee to watch the BBC!

All the Dailies are now run for propaganda and profit. It just depends which form of propaganda you prefer.

I have never wasted my time reading the news. Real news gets filtered by friends then they tell me anything important.
