Chronically bored math guys.

Sally J?s having a hard day and doesn?t want to go anywhere. Her PH is off on the 75 gal aquarium by about .8. (The only way to solve is to adj PH for this problem.)

She has a 10kgal pool and uses 1 qt 31.9 % acidity muriatic acid to lower ph .5.

How much very diluted (diluted in 20 gals of saltwater) muriatic acid does she use?

If she?s contemplating using garden vinegar of 20% acidity: What is the adjuster?

She wants the PH to read 7.2 it is now 8.2

Hints:

Problem starts 75/10k.

Solution is in ?drops?.

I?ll answer good question about the problem.

Extra credit for finding the trick to the question.More hints: It?s not the fish will die.
