It would be way cheaper to buy a few yards of topsoil from anyplace that
sells it in bulk. It would still be cheaper if you had to hire some
wheelbarrow pushers. Maybe - I don't know - they can chute it more or less
where you want it? Like concrete.
Why would you need 1-2 FEET (deep) of top soil? Six inches should be
sufficient for almost anything.
That is, plants with roots longer than a foot or so are perfectly capable of
dealing with crappy soil (clay, silt, etc.). "Topsoil" is for grass and
flowers. Maybe carrots.
