I'm planning a project and am soliciting any do's or don'ts regarding installing rock veneer, the fake rock concrete stones manufactured by Boulder Creek, Cultured Stone, etc.. You basically staple up metal lath, put on a scratch coat of mortar, then place the stones with another layer of morter. The manufacturer's instructions seem simple, maybe too simple. Any advice? TIA.
