We bought an Aldi ambiano bullet kettle about three months ago and it's burnt out due to what is clearly a manufacturing fault. A red hot wire (connected directly to the element) wire is bent at the wrong angle so touched the plastic base and has now burnt out. Does anyone else know of similar issues?

A picture would be very helpful. You can post it here in the comments (a small image icon in left bottom corner of the posting form). By similar, do you mean bad design or bad manufacturing issues?
