Pink stuff build-up on shower floor

So, thank you so very much for solving my mystery. Now all I need to do is convince him that a shower in his shop would be so nice for him, lol!!!

It also grows in my dog's water dish if I don't swish it out with a cloth each time I refill it. A plumber was here on a service call one time and he mentioned it was a harmless pink algae.
