Apache was having a bit of a sulk this morning...
one of the disks in the server is generating SMART errors from time to time, and the box is so old that rackspace support consider it "end of life", so the won't slap in a new drive for us.
(We are in the process of working out how to migrate its workload to a cloud based virtual server - so at some point in the near future it will have a new home hopefully)
