Repair concrete floor

so many jobs so little time

exisitng concrete floor has some damage about 20mm deep at deepest 100mm long average 50mm wide

No decision yet on what floor covering will be used maybe none for some time

Best way to repair?

too deep I suspect for self levelling

I was thinking clean up coat with PVA mix up some sharp sand and cement say

3:1 and trowel in but not sure if will stay

Any thoughts

Car body filler is not an option!!!

I used a mixture of Araldite and builder's sand to fill some small holes in my garage floor recently. It did the job, but might be a bit expensive for larger holes.
