You turn the lights-switch from "Auto" to "Off".
Personally I like it. It gets it right most of the time.
Almost certainly "Auto".
Mmmm but I think you need to work on the accent and pronunciation. )
Quite. And don't forget to raise the voice a tad and speak slowly.
Well, whatever it was I couldn't find the setting.

What, for "auto" ?
My C4 has, on the lights-stalk, 4 positions: Off, Auto, side-lights, and main-lights (well, little symbols for the latter two). I leave it on auto the whole time.
Today in Canterbury they had some shiny new Peugeot 108 and 208 (think it was). Certainly the 208 had the exact same settings on its lights-stalk. Wotta you driving?
Be very careful not to get it mixed up with Auto-da-fé.
It was a rental car = Renault, IIRC. The light switch seemed to have three positions, none of which would turn the lights off when they had come on by themselves.
It also had appalling turbo lag.
Its electric handbrake once nearly rolled me back into someone - I started on a hill, it didn't come off, the engine stalled - and then it came off :(
And to round it off the ABS light came on at intervals. I worked out what it was when suddenly the speedo went to zero, then back up to a reasonable value. I had _no_ chance of explaining that to the Spanish hire car man.

My C4 has a lag too, going from 1st to 2nd. One can be embarrassed at roundabouts.
What *are* you talking about? Or have you been smoking something bizarre?
