I can see Emley Moor but I can't receive the Leeds local mux at all. That's despite the OFCOM document (as discussed) showing me as being on the edge of the coverage area. In fact there isn't a sniff of it until you get to north Doncaster.

Those OFCOM maps are bollocks basically.

I don't know if it has now changed (since Freeview), but despite the proximity of a tower, the signal goes right over our heads. Crappy reception. Maps show us as having the most excellent coverage.

Often made in good faith, but the actual on the ground effect is not always what the experts suggest. It has something to do with experience against the theory. Bit like bumble bees should not be able to fly. Howver they never studied aerodynamics. Brian
