We steamed off a bunch of wallpaper...some came off okay....but there was
some....original from about 15 years ago, that...no matter
what....TSP....DIF.....sanding...nothing takes the glue off....help!!
Believe it or not, it isn't all THAT difficult. It just takes a lot of time
and patience. Don't bother with solvents or solutions. Just take a bucket
of water and a sponge and go over glue/paper backing. Let the water soak in
for several minutes, then wet the sponge and go over it again. Repeat this
for about 15 or 20 minutes. Eventually the glue and paper will soften and
you can peel/sponge it off.
