OT: Win 10 Free Upgrade Expiring in 10 days

I wanted to pass along something I recently learned about the free Win 10 u pgrade offer for Win 7 and 8 users that is expiring in 4 days. I know a lo t of people have questions or concerns about Win 10 and I don't want to sta rt a 500 post thread rehashing whether one should or should not upgrade. B ut what I just learned is that you can essentially keep your option for a f ree upgrade available by doing the upgrade now, then reverting back to what ever you currently have, eg Win 7. Once you install Win 10, MSFT's databas e has your PC listed and authenticated to have Win 10 and you can then inst all it later for free again, if you want to. You can revert back either by letting Win 10 undo it, or by making a disk image of what you have before doing the upgrade.
