WTF, 32%!!!

That's not beer, that's carbonated whiskey virtually. Didn't anyone tell the distillery that the definition of "beer" is slightly more than "gassy brown alcoholic liquid"

I love the bit: "BrewDog was previously branded irresponsible for an

18.2% beer called Tokyo, which it then followed with a low alcohol beer called Nanny State."

They call themselves a brewery not a distillery, but apparently it was freeze distilled at a local ice cream factory:

somehow "brewer sells weak weirdly made sort-of-whisky" doesn't have the same PR significance.

Sounds terrible

A gimmick which will fly and die I reckon

For £30 I could buy a half decent malt whisky and have change for a bottle of wine

beers overwhelmingly tend to be in the range 3-5% which seems to be optimal for complementing the taste

... and allowing you to enjoy without falling over before you've had enough

Some beers up to 10-11% can be interesting, but it is hard to do well. I've had plenty that were just nasty.
