Oh dear. another moron who thinks 'no deal' equals 'no trade'.
I am beginning to realise WHY nearly 50% of those who bothered to vote actually voted remain. The level of ignorance is something that surprises even me.

But you were happy enough to believe those morons in the Sun etc who said leaving would be good for the country. When it suited you.

Good grief.

And precisely where did I claim that?
Once again, it's obvious who is lying.
I just bought some vegetables from Kenya. No doubt the EU will halt the 'seamless flow' of African fruit and veg by some magic
We have more tarde with China in Container equivalent units than with the WHOLE of Europe. Add in the USA and Europe lookes even more insignificant.

So what happened to that EU 'protectionism' you and others go on an on about? Leave the EU and we'll be able to buy things from anywhere? Like you've just done?
But a sensible person would ask if those other non EU markets will want to buy *our* goods. To pay for the ones we buy from them.

You shouldn't be surprised. How can an ordinary voter be expected to understand how international markets and trade work? and how that might or might not change in any number of different scenarios? and what the difference is between a customs union and a single market? and what the WTO is and how it's governed and what its rules are?
That's why the referendum was such an ill conceived balls up. We all know what we voted for but we none of us knew what we would get, and most of what was promised has turned out to be illusory.

<snip>

Are you sure?
I'm sure, some time ago, Turnip could reason some stuff but I'm afraid those days are behind us now. ;-(
He is a classic left brainer ... He's right, everone who agrees with him is also right (but only because he is) everyone else isn't even considered and is wrong.
He can have gut feelings and be 100% right with them but everyone else must have facts or they will be wrong / ignored.
If he has an opinion on anything, again he is right, even if he is the only one in the world with that opinion.
Given that the whole Brexit scam is so divisive, it's pretty easy to see how the likes of Turnip would jump on such a bandwagon and think his viewpoint is the right / only one.
He is happy to completely ignore nearly 59% of those who voted and specifically those who couldn't, without caring, let alone even wondering why.

Just the sort of comment from Turnip you'd expect from Trump. No wonder he worships him.

Even government ministers don't understand how this works.

One of many reasons why the referendum was a fuck-up.

Certainly True for the leave campaigns and the gutter press.

Cameron never thought anyone would be stupid enough to vote leave, so he could promise anything or nothing.
Cameron forgot that the Conservatives were running the British "educational" system. Doh!!!.................................
