OT: ITN poll

Seems Turnip and his crew are likely to be as 'right' with this as they were with UKIP...

We all know that turkeys will vote for Xmas on occasions. That's how we get Labour governments and socialist Conservative ones. A week is said to be a long time in politics, so I'll wait for the next installment.
In the meantime here's the VOTE LEAVE TEN COMMANDMENTS.
1) If you want lower taxes, VOTE LEAVE. 2) If you want higher take home pay, VOTE LEAVE. 3) If you want affordable housing, VOTE LEAVE. 4) If you want the NHS to survive, VOTE LEAVE. 5) If you want fewer immigrants, VOTE LEAVE. 6) If you want lower energy bills VOTE LEAVE. 7) If you wish to be governed from Westminster, VOTE LEAVE. 8) If you want lower unemployment, VOTE LEAVE. 9) If you want to rebuild the fishing industry, VOTE LEAVE. 10) If you wish to be BRITISH, VOTE LEAVE,
Remember all the foreign dignitararies who tell you how to vote are only operating in THEIR best interests, not yours. That includes the Governor of the Bank of England. The Britons who wish to stay governed by Brussels are IMO to be pitied as their reasoning powers are somewhat lacking.

Pure guessing.

Pure guessing

Bollocks. The only way to have affordable housing is by government subsidy. Which would mean higher taxes...

Given just how many of the below work in it, Most would say this is a lie.

About half the UK immigration comes from non EU countries. No government appears to want to control immigration even when they obviously can, so that again is speculation.

Or simply higher profits for the energy suppliers.

We're not governed by Westminster at the moment?

Given the country would be in a mess for ages afterwards, likely to cause higher unemployment for many years.

But there won't be any fish left to catch with the free for all you want. As happened before quotas.

Seems the Scots want to be British and in the EU. But of course you meant English.

More fool you. Those who like the EU basically want completely freedom of movement of EUians, the exact opposite of meglomaniacs.

They have always tried to do that. And done that very badly with most of British industry ever since the war.

Fuck all I bet. At most it might send VW broke and that would be a damned shame given that it has always been one of the best car manufacturers.
Bet the only real effect will be that cars are actually tested to see if they do perform pollution and mpg wise as the manufacturer claims they do with some checks that the ECU isnt checking to see if its being tested and doing things differently when it is being tested.

Nope. Britain does send billions to the EU and wouldn’t have to do that if not in the EU.

And may well be wrong if British economy ends up worse off.

Wrong. The other obvious way to have lower housing prices is to no longer allow anyone in the EU who wants to move to Britain to do that and to stop foreigners owning houses in Britain.

Not if you do it the other way.

No reason why immigrants from the commonwealth can't continue to be used.
Or even EUians who Britain decides to allow to work in the NHS,

But when Britain currently has no say on immigration from the EU, there would be rather less of that when Britain is not in the EU.

Perfectly possible to have state subsidys for nukes etc and for Britain to decide for itself what makes sense shutting down coal fired power generation wise etc.

Not with lots of policy decided by the EU.

Much more likely that with EUians no longer being able to show up in Britain if they want to, that the unemployment rate would drop.

He didn’t say anything about a free for all.
Certainly if Britain was allowed to restrict fishing to only British fishing operations in British waters that would improve the situation for the fishing industry. Nothing will rebuild it now tho.

Only a bare majority of them do.

No he didn’t.

The UK would have to contribute at least the same amount to the EU in order to get the same trade deal. Why would the EU settle for less? They are not a philanthropic organisation.
If anything the EU is likely to ask for more, since they would hold all the aces, and would have no reason to give preferential treatment to the UK.
The difference would be that the UK would have no seat at the EU table.

Because their large companies would tell them to.

No, they are run for the benefit of large EU based corporates like Siemens, Bosch, Mercedes, VAG, AEG....

No, they wouldn't.
Britain is worth more to the EU than the EU is to Britain, and that's a fact.

It would gave several trillion reasons

A 'seat at the EU table' is as valuable as a deckhair on the Titanic, as Cameron has amply demonstrated.
The EU is going down: The issue is whether we go with it or not.

All you have to do is look at the agreements other non EU European countries have with the EU as regards trading conditions. Shouldn't be too hard even for you. But you'll not like the answer, so stick your head back in the sand.

Nope, no country has chosen to leave.

Fantasy. Even if it does stop working, that is no worse than leaving now.

As already is the case with Norway, Iceland, Switzerland. And all have to allow free unrestricted access to EU citizens too.

And if anything like the little Englanders who want out, would demand a premium over what is paid now. No rebate, etc.

It is so obvious to anyone with half a working brain cell. Excepting those with a death wish.
