All insects are white immediately after moulting.
Another possibility is that these are springtails.

No, the oldest brats don't seem to know how to go about it. When we were their age we had their father and mother, respectively.
Not that I mind, it would just mean more birthday cards - and remembering them. And there are enough Fishers in the world anyway.
