As many as we need. The problem isn't the straws, it is the lazy assholes who throw them in the water. Are the bigger caps Starbucks is going to start using better for the ocean?

They had a big crusade here against straws and to demonstrate the problem people combed the beach in a cleanup effort to show us how bad the problem was. They couldn't find enough straws to even make it on TV.

Ridiculous. Plastic bottles are so much more the problem in terms of bulk but people don't want to drink from the tap or from a water fountain.

It woukd not be a problem if people were not slobs. Plastic contains a lot of energy and can be used as fuel for electricity.
