None, usually. You really don't want a Sealer, Caulking nor any Adhesive-Like product that makes servicing the sump difficult to re-seal or involved to open. Normally, a Gasket Type Seal between the sump and its lid is the preferred seal. A cheap rubber Weather-Stripping works very well and is easy and inexpensive to replace in the future as or if ever needed.
