My above ground pool is four years old. We have never had a cloudy pool until this year. We live in ALabama where it's hot enough to swim from may to November. However, the pool is so cloudy, we can't use the dang thing! I have tried everything my pool store has told me to try. I'm going broke because of pool chemicals. I've dumped enough chlorine in it to kill human life, but the pool store says its low on chlorine! My alkalinity and ph are fine. I've back washed when needed, I've vacuumed when needed. My skimmer is clear from debris, but I see tiny white particles floating in the pool. What the heck is that? It looks like dandruff! I was told not to drain it. What else do I have to do to enjoy the summer I'm too old for a slip and slide!
