washer is a GE model #wdsr2080d2ww was making noise during spin cycle

GE washer model #wdsr2080d2ww was making loud noise during the spin cycle,now it has stopped spinning and just makes a sound like its trying to spin, the washer still goes thru its cycles of filling and draining though just not spinning
