Priming a lawnmower

My mower starts even without priming it. Sounds like a good problem to have. Even though it starts up right away should i still prime it a couple of times.

Priming the carburetor simply forces fuel into the lines if its not already there. If your lawnmower starts without priming, then that's fine. At the same time you don't want to push it too much as you run the risk of flooding the engine.
Bottom line - if it starts without priming, then everything is fine. If you have difficulty starting it some day, prime it 2 or 3 times.
