my crank window does not hold in place - it moves back and forth with the breeze. if a strong wind it will whip it wide open

my crank works fine but something is allowing the wind to move it wide open and then closed - does not stay in a place that you open it too. i am afraid a strong wind will whip it open and break the glass.

You'll have to get a replacement Operators or opening mechanism assemblies, you've got teeth broken off somewhere. FYI, Casement windows should not be left open during high winds or gusts, now you know why.
