water line between house and street has a leak. the water is coming out of the ground but the pipe is nowhere to be found. Where is the pipe ? There has to be a red line drawing or as built I would think somewhere. Who would have that or be able to tell me how the pipe was run to the house and how deep it is ? I dont really want to start digging at the meter and make my way to the house. take me a week to do that. Will a metal detector work to find the pipe? its 110 F outside in AZ an d i dont want to dig for a week out there. please help
