put it in a home that's gonna undergo conventional fumigation for termites. that gas they use is a real KILLER!

call a fumigation company to find out who their next customer is.

Boracare, available over the Internet. It is a boric acid solution in a glycol. Dilute as per the directions, paint it on, let it dry, and there is no problem with finish adhesion. If the piece is already finished, you will have to strip it or arrange for the use of very toxic fumigants. Stripping with methylene chloride does not kill off the eggs. In the mean time, get the piece out of your house!

Good Luck!

you use it, you'll have to send him a csacrifice to the woodworking gods. Luigi Replace "no" with "yk" twice in reply address for real email address

"Man is a tool-using animal. Weak in himself and of small stature, he stands on a basis of some half-square foot, has to straddle out his legs lest the very winds supplant him. Nevertheless, he can use tools, can devise tools: with these the granite mountain melts into light dust before him: seas are his smooth highway, winds and fire his unwearying steeds. Nowhere do you find him without tools. Without tools he is nothing: with tools he is all." Thomas Carlyle

It is called Methyl Bromide and boy does it work! But the greenies hate it since it is supposed to help cause the ozone disappear.

Borax-boracare-Boraxo all same basic ingredient. Plus they help fireproof, termite proof wood but is suseptable to leaching by water.

Should I burn a neighbor's can of poly in the burn barrel for 'em.
