The tale of TWO Lee Valley Parcels.

Maybe tomorrow. It's still kinda fun, as long as you wear a face shield for the spittle...

Maybe not, if it's the credit card companies influencing policy.

This is obviously to combat fraud.

Is that when you were hired by either Woodcraft or Lowe's to become their rumour monger? Is that going to be the only way you're going to displace Lee Valley as the industry leader in quality and customer service?

Good luck, buddy.. we see right through your feeble attempt.

WTF do you want us to do? "Oh gee, jimmy from the Wreck has an axe to grind but doesn't want to pay Canada Post for shipping the stone, so I best stop buying from Lee Valley?"

I have never shopped at either. I probably never will.

What on Earth do the business practices of a corporation have to do with socialism?

No, this was a cost-saving measure on the part of the Post Office (at least in the US, can't say for Canada Post). Cluster boxes were being installed long before identity theft became a cause de' jour.

I always suspected Rob Lee might be a communist. Selling all those tools for the 'workers'

Same in Canada. As new subdiivisions spring up, home delivery goes away. I believe parcel delivery still happens to the door if you provide a street address.

Of course, if all you give the shipper is a PO Box, how are they supposed to know where you live?

Nope. I've tried that trick. Many of my neighbors as well. In fact Futureshop even suggested trying it. Guess what, not only didn't I get the package Canada Post returned it to Futureshop as no valid address. It works sometimes in some areas, but it's against Canada Post policy. Phone Priority Post and ask them.

Then here's a hint... don't have a PO box as a mailing address.

Duh.

Jimmy, you've got some set of balls to tell a man that he can't figure out how something gets shipped to him and then to tell him he's wrong.

Now, I've got nothing to say about Canada Post as I've never used it, nor have I had anything shipped TO me from the Great White North, but I will go so far as to mention that it is, in fact, a REALLY big freakin' country you've got up there and that it might not be the same everywhere.

As Andy Warhol might've said, "You've had your 15 minutes....sit down."

Canada Post will deliver to PO boxes... anything that will actually fit in the PO box.

If you order something that won't fit in the PO box, where should they put it?
