See? Your tempest in a teacup has faded to insignificance. If you had waited

24 hours for clarification you wouldn't have had to make a fool of yourself in public.

Thanks Mike for raising the issue and also making us aware of the response.

Home Depot's statement today sounds very reasonable to me.

Careful! The bleeding hearts tend to rely on the fact that if you criticize them you are "Un American, Un Godly and most probably a devil worshipper"! Better to donate to the SBUPR - Society for the Benefit of Underpriviledged Raccoons.

As usual, all the ranting and raving has resulted in absolutely nothing of use.

Mekon responds:

It's American Family Association with Donald Wildmon as the leader. Ordained UM minister who says he decided in '77 to roll back things to the good old days when kids could watch TV without seeing adultery, violence, etc.

In the process, he's done his best to remove a great many freedoms, and has had absolutely no affect whatsoever on TV violence or sexual content. My own memories of '77 indicate that Donny is losing badly.

My reading of his tracts indicates that his tactics are not any I feel will work, or that I approve of. Personally, I feel he's like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton: he's found himself a niche where he can make big bucks and he's hanging on tooth and nail.

Google him yourself and make your decision.

Yeah, there was an error. The error was you and your buddy Wildman taking the response of a single store manager as corporate policy, a typical Wildman over-reaction.

How many stores does HD have? That single store manager does not set policy for the group, and may well have been ignoring corporate policy because of his personal feelings about AFA and anything related to it.
