O/T: Creative Juices

RE: Subject

No doubt most of you have heard of the fish kill at Kings Harbor in Redondo Beach in SoCal.

Here is an opportunity to get the creative juices flowing.

The following is self explanatory.

------------------------------ Best guess is that fish were being chased by a natural predator into King Harbor.

Once inside, high winds 30-50 MPH sustained, trapped fish and they suffocated.

As of today, surface is clear; however, there are dead fish on the bottom, estimated to be at least 2-3 ft deep.

When they bloom later this week, things are going to get very interesting.

Any eco friendly ideas of how to get the dead fish off the bottom before that happens would be appreciated by those involved.

I'd think hydraulic dredging first...

  1. Wall off the harbor with a plastic boom filled with recycled bricks
  2. Use a wind-powered pump to drain the harbor
  3. Truck in 20,000 neutered stray cats using electric vehicles.

I meant to say, "homeless cats".

Put BP in charge of the cleanup, they'll deny them out of existence.

The friendliest. Mother Nauture will do a fine job, just leave her alone.

-------------------------------- Given an ample supply of clothespins and an off shore winds for a couple of weeks, probably not a bad idea.

When they surface, get BP to spray an oil slick and toss a lit match in the mix. Fish Fry!

------------------------------- You forgot the 500, Model 12, 12 ga, Winchesters along 50 boxes of #4 shot, 12 ga shells per Model 12 to clear out the cats afterwards.

Don't want to do just half the job.

----------------------------- You'll never get an open burn permit from the South Coast Air Quality Management District.

Convene a meeting of the greenies. Hold a gun to them. Force them to eat said fish. Deny them medical care. Hopefully one environmental problem will take care of the other.

Lew, invite Barry to talk to them. His speeches really suck, so hook a vacuum cleaner hose to him. Problem solved!

P.S: Be sure to included backup teleprompter systems.

Y'know, I'm kinda wondering why Governor Moonbeam hasn't taken over the project. How's he working out, I wonder?

I like it!

I'm wondering why the Asian cooks in the area haven't snagged all the remains (including the lovely fish heads) for their soup yet, though.

Maybe modify one of these puppies?

Probably because it would stink up the air, right? ;~)

----------------------------- The fish already have the smell covered, no burn needed.

With 3 refineries in the area, don't need any more things burning.
