Log Sawing The Ottawa Way

I think I'd much rather use one of these than a chainsaw.

If that flywheel start is as finicky as the old John Deere A, you'd be through about 5 or 6 log cuts with the chain saw before the engine was even started on that beast.

For the price of one of those drag saws I can buy _two_ brand shiny new chainsaws. They sell for insane money these days.

Because I've used chainsaws. Unless you're carving with one, they're more work than fun. Something like this looks like a lot more fun to use than a chainsaw.

Point taken, but did you read the comment by the guy that made the web page? Right at the bottom he says he has one of the saws, and if only.....
