copy it from the real K6 design (or even the older and larger K2)

the blue police box, or the K3 kiosk design (both easier to make than a K6) would work, especially if you're a Dr Who fan.

This piece of retail junk is a travesty of everything that worked so well in the original design. The roof in particular is ugly.

Nothing easier - just build it inside out, arrange the furniture, and push it all through an isolated singularity.
