Yale wireless alarm

I have a system that is about 5 years old. Recently a wireless door contact alarm was damaged and I have bought a replacement (part no

3010/3090). It is slightly different to the original and I am unable to discover how to install into the system. Yale helpline has very restricted hours and is often very busy. Any help would be welcome.

Old procedure was:

insert code; program; 1; display; store; insert battery into detector; master unit counts up 01-A0 to indicate success.

New procedure seems to involve a new button in the detector but no instructions come with it.

Thanks

Timothy

I cant answer your specific question but be careful because some wireless alarms used to operate on 418Mhz which was the UK licence free slot for telemetry applications but this has now been abolished and 433Mhz is the new Pan-European standard. AFAIK it is now illegal to sell 418Mhz transmitters.

I believe that 418Mhz has been allocated toTETRA mobile phones/Trunked 2 way radio although my 418Mhz Burglar Alarm is still working,

I shall be annoyed if it does not as it would not be too hard for 418Mhz to be kept free for the thousands of devices that were bought in good faith and still work.
