The article suggests the government is getting cold feet on the environment..

must be the drop in GW making them cold.

Maybe they are coming to their senses and are looking for a way out of the fake climate change issue?

Much more likely to be the real threat of the lights going out this or next winter followed closely by a General Election... They only really care about having their snout in the trough. Especially as cameroon has stated that the lights will not go out.

They are simply trtacking publoic opinion which is wising up to te favt that

1/. Climate change is not the alarming scary monster it's put out to be 2/. There are considerable signs that it probably isn't all, or even largely, caused by CO2. 3/. Whatever we do in Europe is pointless when the Far East is suffocating itself on coal fumes. 4/. Renewable energy doesnt actuall save emissions anyway - its a po;litical gesture, and a money spinner, not an actual solutin to memissions 5/. Energy bills are impacting very hard on voters, and they dont like paying for green technology that they suspect doesnt work.

Miliband who set it all up is pretendng its greedy energy companies...in line with the general lefty gestalt that anyone who makes miney is necessarily and enema of the peepul. Well he would, wouldnt he?.

Cameron senses a way out. With luck, he can do a reverse ferret without looking more of a prat than he already does, placate the UKIPers, and the general public and score points off Miliband, and the Lib dems, by blaming it (fairly) on them.

Opinon polls say the public interest in miney is increasiong, and the interst in climate change is on the way out, so poilticians will follow the trendline, and announcce 'new initiatives' that are simply s crafted response to the opinion polls.
