What's this - bit of a dishwasher?

Found this lying at the bottom of our Miele dishwasher the other day. Any ideas what it is/where it has come from?

This could be the beginning of a new tv game show. Spot the part. As apposed to spot the pratt which seems a common theme.

like it's the bit that clips in the underside of a kid's juice cup lid and makes it work...

Let's go really OT:-)

Did I ever mention that Ryan Giggs has shagged one of my ex girlfriends.

Some poor so-and-so tomorrow is going to get quizzed by his IT department. A "NSFW" tag would have been helpful.

If you are sure it's from the dishwasher, it looks a bit like the top of the pump chamber on ours (also a miele). Not quite the same, but close...

You unclip the lid in the base (under a metal cover) and then lift off the lid. Under the lid is the impeller (had to dig out a paperclip once).

Have you cleaned the filter in the bottom recently? If so, did you knock the wire clip? If it is the top of the pump, I'd imagine it won't be washing dishes all that well now :-)

You're right - thanks for this. (Not sure how this sparked off what followed in this thread!)

It was my ex he shagged. I have not seen her for years and I have never met Giggs. The first I knew about him nobbing her was when my brother announced it halfway though Christmas dinner at my parents house after he had drunk half a bottle of brandy and a bottle of wine (my ex is best mates with his best friends wife).

Now I might have a video of the announcement he made on Christmas day:-)

You posted on a Sunday.

If you look at the history of the posts on a Sunday afternoon/evening/night then things often go that way. It's how we avoid doing the DIY on a Sunday.

The fact that Gazz made the post should have been a clue.
