They have a whole range of products which one selects based on stone type and desired finish.

Their stuff does not appear cheap at first sight but is of high quality and goes a long way.

The specialist tile places (typically not the warehouses) stock it.

Lithofin MN StainStop. If you want a wet look on a non-polished stone, apply Lithofin MN Colour Intensifier first.

I went to toppstiles and asked the assistant. Went home with a bottle of HG pre-sealer stuff that removed the scratches and scuffs and a bottle of sealent.

This was for slate mind.

cost about 7 quid each or so IIRC.

Not strictly the same, but on unsealed/unglazed terracotta floor tiles, I used plain old Thompsons water seal first (3 coats) followed by 2 coats of Plasplugs shine and seal :

tested for colour change on a spare tile, (which did darken slightly) but i'm happy with the result.

I re-treat the floor every 3 months or so (after a good clean) with the plasplugs polish.

Cheers
