WC lead soil pipe

Hi does anyone happen to know if old lead wc soil pipe is bigger or smaller than 110mm plastic. Thanks Allan

The one I took out was slightly narrower, but it was a bit hard to tell as most of it was doing the "corner" through the wall and had ended up more oval than round ! Simon.

I had to get a connector for an old (but not lead) soil pipe recently and it was smaller than the current 'standard' size.

The bore should be the same - 4 inches - but the plastic probably has a thicker wall, which would result in it being larger externally.

OK thanks for the help. I does look slightly smaller, I had a moment of doubt just before the point of no return
