Since fitting a new basin with a ceramic mono lift and twist mixer tap and isolating valves ahead of the flexibles, I am shocked by the noise of water when the tap is used. I have had to turn the isolating valves down a bit to limit the full flow. It seems any flow is now creating a lot of noise - but the noise seems to come from further upstream / back down the line rather than from the tap / valves. The new W/C is also noisy now - similar flexi and isolating valve.
I was wondering if anything van be fitted upstream to reduce the noise?
