type of shower

Hi All

Im trying to pick a shower to replace existing shower.

I can have an electric one but would prefer a mixer thermostatic type maybe a bar mixer or a panel type.

Two problems - the wall is internal and one block thick, so I dont wan anything else than pipes embedded into it. I assume that if I get non-concealed unit I would just have to channel in the hot and col supply.

Secondly I dont have water tanks in the loft, only a hot water tank i a bedroom, and a back boiler downstairs to heat water and radiators. There is a pump installed next to the hot water cylinder.

So any ideas?

Regards

Ro

Rob,

On the information that you gave here - I would suggest that you stick to an electric shower.

1 Unless you fit an additional pump into the hot water circuit you are unlikely to have enough water pressure to run the shower.

2 If it's an ordinary back boiler fired by solid fuel, then this is unlikely to poduce the quantity of hot water needed.
