Did it strike anyone that 165 grand for all that land, and OK an unsafe building, was pretty cheap. I guess it was listed and the land could not be used for anything else, but even so. Simon.

But that series was made some time back. I tried to read the dated copyright notice at the end but they faded it just too soon!
Round the SE home counties 'amenity land' is fetching about £10k per acre from the various houses I've looked at with 'paddocks available extra' - less if it's a large parcel.

No, its a new series, the latest report was in feb 2007, and they started work in 2006, although I think they bought the property a year or two earlier. The total spend was about 400k, they ended up with a big country house with over 20 acres of land worth over 1 million. Pretty good going. Simon.
