Triton electric shower inlet filter

The gauze inlet filter on my Triton Ivory II came to pieces as I tried to remove it. Was planning to clean it, as I was taking it off the wall anyway to fill the can with descaler. Does anyone know if these are standard parts, or do I need to contact Triton?

II.

The other two do though, but they have the same spare parts diagram as in my manual. Unfortunately it doesnt list the inlet filter as a part. Dont want to buy a whole new solenoid valve assembly just for the gauze filter. The filter sits inside the inlet of the valve.

Yeah.I noticed it wasn't shown seperately . You'd be best to phone either Triton or The Doc to ask . I've a funny feeling the Ivory was one that Homebase sold ,same as Aquatronics are Wickes and Focus sales .

The pictures on the websites don't seem to show the filters themselves, but I have the odd spare from the T50/T80. It looks like below... view in fixed-width font, such as courier new.

Thanks Tony. Mine looks slightly different, it only has one flange at the top which is ~12mm, and basket is only 10mm high.

I'll try and phone Triton tomorrow, didnt get time today.

Pete, good idea about the standard filter washer, I can probably try it from my washing machine.
