but that's another pessimistic 'glass half empty' premise.
in a diy newgroup. you ought to be ashamed to be so negative.
No it's not - I said it /may/ break.
You ought to be ashamed for telling someone they ought to be ashamed.
yes it *is*. even entertaining the possibility of a negative outcome before the job has begun is pessimistic when you consider that, chances are, nothing untoward will happen at all.
so, where does that leave you ? double ashamed with a half empty glass ?
shame :-)
Don't be tempted to put it on a roof rack.

But surely, from a logical standpoint, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be... Now *that's* a shame.

David. I got some quotes from a cast iron bath re-enamelling service in St.Helens Merseyside recently and they recommended a carrier called Richard Crag at Martin Brothers Ph. 01985 844144 who specialised in transporting baths. Didn't have to use them in the end as the quote for enamelling was £550.00 +VAT. Bought a new Kaldewei 3.5mm steel bath instead. Transport company might be able to help you? Liam
