Thermabate - installation & where to buy

Hi there,

I am replacing a window with patio doors and so will have to close the bottom half of the cavity on each side - should I open up the cavity fully on each side or just make good where it has been opened?

And where can I buy Thermabate? I cant find anywhere online of off?
