The good and the bad

Bought 100 5mm water clear yellow LEDs from a company in Hong Kong off Ebay for 1p. Not such a bargain when you take into account their standard postage charge. But still ok.

About 50% were ok. The rest either the wrong shade or colour, not working, polarity wrongly marked or just plain smashed.

Very quick response to a complaint e-mail saying a further 100 in the post for free.

I've bought lots of LEDs from the same source and they've always been fine. Wonder what went wrong this time.
