They do in the Warehouse stores, not the local ones.

Model railway shops sell all kinds & sizes of brass bar & tube.

The larger ones have a rack of various profile pieces in various metals and plastics.

================== They also sell earth rods about a metre in length for about £5-00. I'm not sure whether they're copper or brass but worth a quick look.

Usually copper plated steel, sometimes solid copper.

They sell brass, but their prices are absolutely ridiculous. Also I don't recall seeing it as large as 10mm.

Search for mail order model engineering suppliers instead.

It might be cheaper to buy from someone like Smiths Metal Centres, even with the cutting charge, although brass has increased sharply in price recently, so that could depend on when B&Q last updated their prices.

Look in your yellow pages for Metal Supermarkets

I went to a Metal Supermarket place the other day and was told they now have a minimum order charge of 5.00ukp + vat.

They're still cost-effective compared to the sheds and of course have a vastly better range of stock, and will cut to the size you want.
