Stickers for plugs / Sockets

Hi there,

I've just fitted a new Kitchen, part of which included adding new sockets and switches for under cabinet lighting.

The under cabinet lights have a Fused Switch plate, which guests think controls an appliance rather than the lights.

So I would like to label them.

Is there anywhere where I could get hold of stickers with a light bulb symbol to stick on the face plate ?

I'm ideally seeking something transparent with a white coloured bulb symbol.

Any ideas where I can source a few of these stickers from ?

Also, it would be good to get hold of similar appliance stickers for other items in the kitchen.

Thanks in advance.

I think you'd be into some form of strip label printer that works from your computer for this sort of graphics. But there are inexpensive self contained printers that use self adhesive strip in different colours and produce neat written labels. Maplin have one on special offer, IIRC.

A Brother TZ tape (P-Touch) label system. These produce laminated lables which are very robust. You can chose different colours, sizes, and backgrounds (including transparent) by changing the cassette. They can also do a variety of symbols; not sure if a lightbulb is one of them though.

Schools often have a labelling machine of this sort...

a polite word with the receptionist/secretary and a fiver in the staff coffee jar would help.

I thought I'd seen them cheaper elsewhere, that was just as an example of the idea!

Teachers can be very amenable if you approach them nicely.

Last Xmas I got a set of exactly these stickers from a distant relative, so they definately exist. Sounds like the sort of thing Lakeland might do?

What, a teacher?

Well, I suppose it's cheaper than paying fees to a dating agency.
