Just finished watching Series 2. In the very last scene, in the last episode, the camera zoomed in on a body with the face wrapped in polythene.
Whose body was this ?
Would like to know before I move on to series 3

I'm a fan of the Saturday night BBC4 crime slot and I'm currently recording series 4 of Spiral.
Unfortunately I'm even further behind than you, having only just finished watching series 1, so I don't have the answer you are looking for. It's so easy to record stuff, nowadays, isn't it? Just not so easy to find the time to sit down and watch it.

Very much a fan. I am afraid that I cannot remember who the body belonged to, if it is of any solace I don't think that it was of particular significance to the ongoing series. [Spoiler] From memory a while before the end the revolting Aziz had fallen out with the brothers with a predictable result - other than him I cannot suggest a name to put with the body.
IMHO series 3 is the best so far, perhaps because my two favourite actors, Philippe Duclos (investigating magistrate Roban) and Audrey Fleurot (l'avocate Karlsson) feature a lot. I am recording series 4 at the moment and will probably watch it one or two batches.
It is a great production, if perhaps a bit overly gritty at times. Many years ago I read a lot of Simenon's Maigret books which has been of considerable help with understanding the machinations of the French inquisitorial judicial system.
Although somewhat different, I have enjoyed it as much as The Killing and The Bridge.
